Every year, during the second weekend of June, the World Heritage properties open their doors and invite you to discover their secrets, their uniqueness and their extraordinary value. For the first time, the World Heritage Days will also take place online: take part in digital experiences on Sunday the 13th on our social media channels.

The 5th edition of the World Heritage Days took place with the support of 


 

All about the programs:

 Three Castles, Defensive Wall and Ramparts of the Market-Town of Bellinzona - main event
 Saturday 12th of June

  • Traditional market with World Heritage representatives, World Heritage exhibition and musical entertainment 
  • Montebello Castle: open doors and musical entertainment
  • Castelgrande: exhibition: the Ceneri and its lands a gallery of people and musical entertainment
  • Sasso Corbaro Castle: exhibition - Raffaello 3D - The Divine

Sunday 13th of June
  • Guided tours
    • On the borders of the duchy (Murata, Castelgrande and Montebello Castle)
    • Archaeology exhibition Montebello
    • Exhibition of the Cervia wooden ceiling (in Castelgrande) 
  • Didactic workshop "A message for the gods" (for children aged 6 to 14 at Montebello Castle)

 Rhaetian Railway Albula / Bernina
 Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of June

  • UNESCO World Heritage Pass for any journey on the World Heritage route from Thusis to Tirano at a special price (from CHF 25 for a day pass)
  • Free admission to the Albula Railway Museum in Bergün. Free guided tours of the museum.
  • Special price for the Theatre on Wheels "Geführte Zeitreisen ins UNESCO Welterbe RhB"
  • Guided day excursion in Italian from Lago di Poschiavo to the famous circular viaduct in Brusio and on across the border to the historic town of Tirano  (only on 13.06.2021)
