World Heritage Days 2021

Every year, during the second weekend of June, the World Heritage Sites will open their doors and invite you to discover their secrets, their uniqueness and their extraordinary value. For the first time, the World Heritage Days will also take place online: take part in digital behind-the-scenes experiences of our heritage from the comfort of your own home.

Rhaetian Railway Albula / Bernina

  • UNESCO World Heritage Pass for any journey on the World Heritage route from Thusis to Tirano at a special price (from CHF 25 for a day pass)
  • Free admission to the Albula Railway Museum in Bergün. Free guided tours of the museum at 10.30 and 13.30 each day
  • Special price for the Theatre on Wheels "Geführte Zeitreisen ins UNESCO Welterbe RhB"

  • Experience the audio play trail "The Magic Line" from Elm to Schwanden by hiking
  • GeoGuides will be available at the start and finish to provide information
  • There are prizes to be won and refreshments available

All events take place in consideration of the current Covid19 situation and are continuously adapted to the federal regulations. Great importance is attached to protection concepts and hygiene measures.
